Insulated glass is a high‑performance glazing product composed of two or more glass panes separated by an aluminum spacer and hermetically sealed through a dual‑sealing process. The sealed air cavity significantly enhances thermal insulation, sound reduction, and overall energy efficiency. When filled with argon gas—an inert gas with lower thermal conductivity than air—the insulating glass achieves an even lower U‑value, improving heat retention and reducing energy loss. For LOW‑E insulating units, argon gas also helps protect the LOW‑E coating and maintain long‑term performance stability. The robust sealing structure prevents moisture penetration, minimizes condensation, and ensures reliable durability in various architectural applications.
